Tony, was I supposed to send you a copy? I rechecked my list and
saw my task was to mail 5 copies and they were to go to: Rob
Nearpass; Roy DesRuisseaux; John Bircher; John Cruddas and Joe
Thomas. I looked thru the names they were to mail to and I
dont see your name on my list. Elder, who should have
mailed to Tony Cady? Or am I having another senior moment...the
like of which are striking with amazing frequency lately. wdh
((Bill - Please send Tony Cady, 35 Evergreen Dr., New
Hampton, NH 03256 the Memory Book CD ASAP, Per my 040C01 email U
were sked to send Tony Cady the Memory Book CD, but then
something happened on your end & on 090C01 I sent Jim Harber
your list to fwd the CD on, but found out that he like me
dont have a cable modem & Im not sure what
instructions I issued after that. I blv that Ray Bernstein was
supposed to send Tony Cady the CD that he rxd fm Bill
Bender, but not sure; however, TO DATE I HAVE RXD only two
CDS back which indicates that the last vet on each of the
listings did not get the CD or might it be true that the
old saying,U CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER, BUT U
CANT MAKE HIM DRINK is true in this case.

Subj: RE: 2002 Reunion info
Got your message. Read all the info you were sending. I have to
get a computer in my house so I can get more
personal stuff. I am starting to remember some of the names from
he E-mails. I ran into a retired NSG guy at Ft Dix
a month ago. He flew in the EC 121 flights out of Danang that I
use to meet when Iran the courier detachment from
the 138th Avn Co. He had a Danang patch on his jacket with
69 on it. I asked him where he was there and he
actually flew some of the missions, but was stationed with the
Naval group at the airport. He thinks he remembers me and the
138th people. My nephew got married in N. Carolina over the Labor
Day weekend. His wifes father was there
also in 69 at the Marine Air Wing next to the 138th on the
runway,. Small world. Well Ill be in touch. Say hello to
Patty and the young adults (cant call them kids anymore).

Subj: How to Achieve 103%
We have all bcen to those meetings where someone wants more than
100%. Well, heres how you do that. Heres how you can
achieve 103%. First of all, heres a little math that might
prove helpful in the future.
How does one achieve 100% in LIFE? Begin by noting the
following.
IF: A=l;B=2~C=3:D=4;E=5;F=6;G=7;H= 8;I=9;J=10;K=11;L=12;M=
13;N=14
O=15;P=16;Q=17;R=18;S=19;T=20:U=21;V=22;W=23;X=24;Y=25;Z=26
Then:
HARD WORK= 8+1+18+4+23+15+18±11 = 0n1y 98%
Similarly,
KNOWLEDGE= 11+14+15±23+12+5+4+7+5 = Only 96%
But interesting (and as youd expect),
ATTITUDE= 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%
... This is how you achieve 100% in LIFE.
But EVEN MORE IMPORTANT TO NOTE (or REALIZE), is
BULLSHIT= 2+21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103%
So now you know what all those high-priced consultants, upper
management, and motivational speakers really mean when they want
to exceed 100%.

would be great if we could find John Randall. I think he was
from West Virginia and played football for three years at the U
of Kentucky until he had knee injuries. Same as Joe Namath, funny
how John was ok to enlist but Namath was 4f. Has everyone
received the memory book now? I am still waiting for the hat,
sweatshirt and tee shirt. I got the badge right away so hope
nothing has been lost in the mail. Gary Jorgensen

Pooh. No retort to the Bulgarian Monterey Mary's comment? Come on
fellows, let's hear it from the squirrels in T/A, or, have you
all gotten old and crusty and lost your sense of humor? Speaking
of squirrels though, I always thought the ditty boppers were
supreme squirrels. Take Mike Findley (05H DET 4-4) for instance.
Here's a fellow who loves Chicago and the Bears, Bulls, and
Blackhawks and yet he exiled himself to an Indian Reservation
outside of Fond du Lac just to get away from all those noises in
the Big City that sounded like dits and dahs. I read one of his
email messages & he said he left his beloved Chicago because
he was trying to find all the hidden messages in the clickety
clacks of the EL & the squeaks of his neighbor's bedsprings,
the static on his Telly & the roar of the traffic on 295.
Must have driven him absolutely bonkers to move all the way to
Fond du Lac. Now, I hear tell that he no longer sleeps on bed
springs; rather a cot piled with straw & to keep those pesky
squeaks of his skin on one leg rubbing against his other leg, he
now lathers himself up in bear grease before donning his
"jammies"! The reason he listens to the CHICAGO BEAR
games on his transistor radio late at night is to drown out the
whistles from his lady friend's nose, which sound ominously like
dits & dahhhhsssss. Lord only knows how he masks the friction
noises at copulation so he doesn't worry excessively about
"hidden" meanings of the dits & dahhss in that
exercise. The crickets up yonder in Wisconsin also bother him
immensely so he had his igloo sound proofed. I wonder how many
other ditty boppers have left the hustle and bustle of big city
dits and dahhssss to escape to the solitude of the hinterlands? I
wonder if Brother Taggert (05H DET 27 & 4-4) has ever written
up a psychology treatise on the mental havoc caused by ordinary
folks learning the ins and outs of dits and dahhhssss? Ain't it
grand what the mind can conjure up after a shot or two of
Slivovitz though I can't find Bulgarian Plum Brandy; I have to
make do with Croatian Slivovitz! - Mixie the Webster Bulgarian
[[Except for Ted Midtaune comparison of the Bulgarian work sked
to that of Special Services, no one has mentioned a word about
Mixie's R&R while in Turkey.

Dearest Clark, Firstly, Fond du Lac is quite a ways away. Our
nearest casino is Lac du Flambeau. The squeaks, squawks, whizzes,
dits, bangs, whirls are all around! My main problem is that I
need good T/A & C/A people for this operation. If I could
find those, we could set-up Operations in an old delapidated barn
or out-house. We could put our antenna field in a potato patch
and tell everyone it's a new irrigation system! We could tie
directional antenna w/battery packs to deer & use them for
RDF! I need help for this mission! Why do U assume that Phil
doesn't hear the dits, too??????( Classified Non-Person)\

Guys, None of the CDs Ive received work on my
computer. One will not open @ all, & the others come-up as
computer programming giberish. Mgr. @ work put one on puter
there & it worked. Were trying to figure how to get it
on my puter or, at least, how I can have it to read @ my
liesure. Mgr. is suggesting a whole new program for this
puter. Sent one on to Norm Frickey, which he did receive.
Glad to hear other guys are having problems; misery &
company, ya know. From what I saw, running through the 85
pages in 3 minutes, you guys did an exceptional job. I know that
it had to be many hours of work; it IS appreciated. Mike Findley

Youre absolutely right. The view coming into Pittsburgh
from either the Squirrel Hill Tunnels or the Liberty Tunnels
(They call them the Liberty Tubes out there) are breathtaking. I
was born and raised in Washington, Pa, 25 miles south of
Pittsburgh. Western Pa is a different lifestyle from my home in
New Jersey. Although Ive lived in New Jersey since 1971
lm still a western Pa. guy at heart and root for my
Steelers every chance I get. My son, daughter-in-law amid two
grandchildren live in Canonsburg, birthplace of Perry Como, about
15 miles from Pittsburgh. I love the Burg but only
get into it a few times a year since its seven driving
hours
from my current home. If anyone out there is planning to pass
through Pittsburgh and want to spend a few hours E mail me
and I tell you about the good places to eat and sites to see. DT

Ive seen the Fonda thing before. While not a fan of
Hanoi Jane I had to see what information I could find
on this e mail and went to http://www.snopes2.com Typed in Jane
Fonda and a very good article on this appeared. Im sure we
all remember the AA gun picture but I had forgotten some of the
other things she said and did even upon the POWs return. While
some of the stuff in the e mail isnt accurate there are
some other things that I found truly disturbing. Now if I see
that post office getting a nickel tax for each e-mail my day will
be complete.
